WestJet Vacations advertises hotels on its website as 4 stars. After receiving the booking confirmation it turns out it is only a 3 star hotel.

And even worse according to the official website of the hotel (full name only announced once paid) it is only a 2.5 star hotel. I complained immediately, but the response was it cannot be changed anymore or I will loose all my money. They offered me a voucher worth 100 CAD, which is not even 4% of the price I paid and even this I never got to see. Follow-up mails or calls got just ignored.

Also the promised to change the incorrect advertisement, which also never happened.

Monetary Loss: $2600.
